Nymph
A Nymph is a female spirit of nature. They are the spirits of trees, lakes and wind. Their exact origin is unknown, and not much is known about them by Dwarfs or Men.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Nymphs appear like Faen or Men, and are all women.
Biological Traits
Nymphs live as long as their surroundings or the natural object they are part of. A Dryad will live as long as the tree they are apart of. A Naiad will live as long as it's pool or spring is full of water. Nymphs, with powerful enough magic, can be slain, however.
Genetics and Reproduction
Nymphs can reproduce with other beings, such as Men and Faen. The child between a Nymph and a man will more than likely have magical abilities like their mother. A child between a Nymph and a Faen will have even stronger natural magical powers.
Growth Rate & Stages
Nymphs always look like young women.
Ecology and Habitats
Anywhere in nature (certain nymphs serve as spirits of different things in nature).
Dietary Needs and Habits
Nymphs do not tend to actually "eat", but usually absorb things from the elements around them.
Biological Cycle
Nymphs tend to be more restful in the winter than during the summer.
