Intake Junction

"Zezig is partially submerged in the ocean. To copy with the ocean, massive deep canals allow the water to flood into the canals and not overtake the city. These canals are extraordinarily deep, plunging into the earth several miles. The remainder of the water is held back by a magical barrier known as the Intake Junction.
