Waterside
This district in Rholea is next to the harbor and contains mostly merchants who have an interest in staying close to the harbor, without having to deal with its inhabitants all the time. Most of the houses here are very narrow, with a width of about three meters, since property taxes are levied based on the width of the lot. These houses usually have multiple stories since this does not impact the tax rate. Different parts of the district show various measures of wealth. The easiest way to see how rich someone is is to measure the width of the house and how many stories it has. the poorer parts of the district have two-story houses (main floor and first floor), while richer houses can have a total of five stories, including a basement. The richest of merchants in the district have simply bought two or more neighboring houses and removed the wall between them, creating a more luxurious house.
