Penion
Penion is one of the First Gods and a member of the original trio. Together with @Taroth, @Ilmarie, and @Tilfarie, he shaped the original form of Avanielda. He was seduced by Tilfarie's first whisperings of hatred and evil, and did great harm to the world, but repented and was re-admitted to the brotherhood of the gods.
Penion and @Ilmarie are the parents of @Bretalie and @Tirinie.
Penion is troublesome and inconstant, quick to wrath and quick to laughter. It is said that he is the original trickster and the origin of the art of comedy. It was one of his tricks that gained him the love of Ilmarie, for he blinded her in a sandstorm and took the form of her husband, Taroth. When he touched her she knew it was not Taroth, for his touch was light and caressing where Taroth was firm and unyielding. But his quickness brought new life to her slower currents, so she yielded and conceived twin children by him: @Bretalie and @Tirinie.
Ever since, both air and water hold hazards for those who dwell upon the firm land of Taroth, for the affair estranged the three gods.
