The Imperfect Owl

Purpose / Function

Originally built as home in Mistreach, the Imperfect Owl became the local bar and tavern after years of offering places to stay and food and drink. During the day, it's a quiet establishment for people to come in and just enjoy the fire, but at night it gets a lot more exciting as the drinks and the music start flowing.

Design

A rather long rectangular building, the outside of the Imperfect Owl matches the other buildings of Mistreach. It's made out of worn wood, with stone at the corners holding it together. The main thing that sets the Imperfect Owl apart is that it has a green roof as opposed to the normal straw colored ones, and that this is one of the few buildings in Mistreach that has a second story to it.
The inside of the building is rather open. It has light wood floors and the interior walls match the exterior. When first walking in there's a large stone fireplace, with a fire always burning, to the right, along with a dark wood staircase. There's tables scattered throughout the room, with a dark bar running along the back wall. The second floor is a little shorter than the first floor, meaning that music can rise up to the top floor without much barrier. The second floor only has six rooms in total.

Alterations

Originally intended to just be a home in Mistreach, a large kitchen and store room were added onto the back, then a second story with more rooms was added, and finally the large fireplace in what was once the living room added.
