Playground
A village almost entirely of non-humanoids, the playground is the name that's given to a small abandoned giant village that has been repurposed by an Ilda Ida Ultragoth as a massive network of birdhouses. She has singlehandedly turned this abandoned giant village into a massive village of rocs that thrives as a safe haven for those who get lost in migration or who are forced out of Yzgard due to overpopulation.
Centered in a small clearing in the middle of the sun and moon courts, the playground is in the perfect place for rocs to nest and forage with access to tall trees to the east and massive mushrooms and bushes of huge berries to the west. Unfortunately, the openness of the area means that moon touched rocs are not uncommon and though this isn't entirely a problem it can lead to unfortunate discourse. With some rocs never being able to sleep at night and being nocturnal hunters while some have normal sleep cycles, the rocs of the playground have developed a way of taking shifts for food and have given the small village an entirely different day and night environment.
There is a central feeding tower where rocs can scavenge and put all their food into for the collective. Over the years new bird houses have been built and moved to create stacks and towers of huts and houses for the massive birds. There is a windmill that has been preserved as a leftover from the giant's that came before that is used to grind large seeds that are found into a paste for cooking and for the baby rocs.
It's genuinely unknown what the purpose of the giant village that was here before was. The only reason it has stayed in tact this long is because it is directly on the border between the far reaches of the moon and sun courts. It is theorized to have been abandoned for close to two hundred years before it was rediscovered by Ilda Ultragoth and Ra and was repurposed as a village of rocs. Buildings have since been moved and built anew as the population of rocs grows. Ilda's bond with the rocs has even made it possible to reach the point where the other rocs in the playground will help construct new buildings when needed and are intelligent enough to develope a social structure and collect food not just for themselves but for the village. Ra has naturally become the leader of the playground and acts as an ambassador between humanoids and rocs, supervising many of the projects the rocs build for themselves (with the help of Ilda).
Demographics
One humanoid considers them self to live in the playground and that is Ilda Ida Ultragoth, queen of the rocs. She has singlehandedly turned this abandoned giant village into a massive village of rocs that thrives as a safe haven for those who get lost in migration or who are forced out of Yzgard due to overpopulation.
Government
The government of the playground is far less of a legitimate law making powerhouse and alot more of a game of calvinball. A mix between a totalitarian government and a democracy, all citizens of the town have autonomy and equal say but only one humanoid is actually there to make any decisions and the rocs seem to just go along with whatever they are given.
Defences
The playground has little more than rudimentary defense systems like palisades, maybe the occasional pothole, or naturally grown tangles of thorns. Fortunately the village doesn't need many extra defenses because the inhabitants are massive birds with talons the size of one's face. Also the queen of the rocs is an incredibly powerful warlock and is dangerous by herself.
Industry & Trade
The playground is probably one of the only functional settlements with literally no economy. The rocs that live here have a sustained community that they work together to keep afloat completely independently from the outside world. If they desperately need anything like medicine or if there is a food shortage then the Ilda Ultragoth can simply ask The Raven Queen for more of whatever she needs.
Infrastructure
Most of the buildings in the playground are repurposed giant huts that now function as birdhouses.
Assets
Very little exists in the playground in terms of usefulness to humanoid civilization due to its location between the courts which makes the nearby resources of low quality to both courts. The mushrooms aren't as massive as the ones deep in the moon court and the wood isn't as beautiful as the wood deep in the sun court.

Architecture
Thatched roofs and wooden walls are the most common materials used in buildings in the area in and around the playground and don't prove to be very sound structurally but get the job done for birds. Nowadays the buildings are mostly stacked on top of eachother either stacked around a tree or crudely stacked in pyramids with little rhyme or reason.

Natural Resources
The playground is in the perfect place to collect a large amount of diverse resources but sadly it isn't deep in the moon or sun court so goods collected around the area are considered low quality for humanoid civilization.
