Colette Equinox is the Queen of the Sun Court and she is as respected as she is feared sometimes. She is quite possibly one of the most powerful beings in the Sun Court right now and is the Equinox family's chosen representative and the kalashtar currently bonded with the ancient quori Trostani. It's said that because of this bond, she has the power of all the forests in Ireland.
Her most well known traits are her quick wit, beautiful voice, and determination. She is incredibly tactically minded and a lover of the arts and is well known as not only a wonderful diplomat but also an incredible strategist to rival Dezba Kestral, leader of the Summer Guild, and a well known painter.
She is currently unmarried and is a very definitive and independent ruler.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Colette is elegant with wider proportions than Alaric. She is less fit but incredibly intelligent.

Body Features

Colette is rather average looking but has a sort of striking beauty to her, she looks normal but the perfect kind of normal.

Facial Features

Colette has long and bond features that are very well proportioned. Her cheeks are a little chubby and her smile, however rare it is, it said to be stunning. Her lips are wide and thick. Her hair is a little longer than shoulder length and has a slight curl to it and two hair loops that go behind her ears.

Identifying Characteristics

Colette has a tall nose that turns up the slightest bit at the tip that make her eyebrows tall and expressive over her piercing green eyes.

Apparel & Accessories

Colette usually wears very frilly clothing with long elegant sleeves. A tunic with the sleeves of a noble's robe is her usual attire over a beautiful floral print pair of pants.

Personal history

Colette Equinox was born with a fragment of Tara's spirit in her body. This makes her a kalashtar with a quori bonded with her. She has always been a witty and somewhat cynical child. She has always been incredibly artistic but has a very dry sense of humor. She became a well known painter fairly quickly in her childhood and became somewhat of a renaissance woman who experimented with engineering and architecture in her spare time. She voluntarily joined the autumn guild as an architect and was well respected even before she became queen. At around 40 years old she was coronated as queen and underwent a very mentally taxing process where she inherited the rest of Tara's spirit from the previous holder, a distant relative. She was left without the ability to walk for about a year during which she underwent magical studies as part of tradition in addition to magical studies she took of her own volition. During that time Alaric and other magic users in the court were tasked with transporting her around with tenser's floating disc.

Education

Colette was also very smart, she was given the same royal tutoring as the rest of the royal families but she was never satisfied and had many accelerated courses where she learned magic, science, engineering, and architecture all while still painting and singing.
