Alaric Solstice is the King of the Sun Court and is incredibly well respected and widely loved by his people. He is one of the last remaining pureblood Eladrin in the world and was the chosen representative of the Solstice family. He has been ruling as half of the court royalty for many centuries.
His two most well known defining traits are his supernatural height for his race and his kindness. Much to the dismay of much of the rest of his family, he worked with an Autumn Guild Carpenter to build a collection of smaller thrones around his own for his grandkids. He has a very loving wife who is also widely adored and a conjured pet hermit crab who acts as the royal treasurer.

General Physical Condition

Fairly well built but mostly built for dexterity. He has a very slight hunch due to his height and old age but it's hardly noticeable.

Alaric is almost impeccably symmetrical and beautiful.

Facial Features

Alaric has a strong nose and a sharp jaw that's accentuated by one of the most perfect beards ever. His facial hair is thick and perfectly defined. He keeps it incredibly well kept and seems to come to a chiseled point at his jaw. His eyes are a kind liquid gold and his skin is an ethereal golden yellow with freckles that resemble even more golden shimmering on his nose.

Personal history

Alaric has been alive for close to 400 years. He was born and was well known as an incredibly cheerful and somewhat sensitive child. He grew up incredibly smart and took fencing lessons from his older brother who was one of the first members of the royal family to become a member of the royal guard or even to join the Summer Guild. He was incredibly gifted and known for using his charisma and wits to win battles and had one of the most decisive and bizarre fencing techniques that was a modification on his brother's unique style. This style has now been adopted by most summer guild soldiers. He was quickly recognizable as the tall member of the family along with his good looks. He was nominated to be the family representative at around 95 years old and was corronated king of Ireland after his great great aunt passed away as the previous Solstice representative. He married shortly into his reign as king and has been adored since.

Alaric Solstice was mostly privately tutored up until he was around 40 years old before he insisted on going to the school of the arcane arts and sciences where he was an incredibly gifted and somewhat disliked student. He was an outcast and had a few very close friends who he worked on his final project with where they invented a new source of energy that used druidic magic and plant's photosynthetic abilities to create solar magic that would allow machines to cast some simple evocation cantrips. This was revolutionary and contributed to his nomination as king.
