Ahkiri

The Ahkiri are a people group native to the eastern half of the Pharuk Desert, in the northern reaches of Bonisthia.

Etymology

The word "Ahkiri" is drawn from an old Dej-Menic word, initially spelled as "Aphkirtipt", that means "saliva/water". This comes from one of their creation myths, which says that Nazkani fashioned the first of men with the desert's sand packed down with either his spit or the Matumet River.
