Definition

Terror Realms are places where life can be sustained, but the conditions of the local flora and/or fauna make it so desperate and dangerous that it is rare that any of the Light Races can exist there. Most Terror Realms have settlement that once occurred on them, but is now abandoned and overgrown or just pulverized into rubble as the more dangerous entities of the world have taken over.

Examples

In the Mare Coelia, the Realm of Greater Silennia is a paradise of lush jungles, vast forests and sweeping plains. Each of these wondrous environments is teeming with the Ceratorex. These massive, therapod predators tear through armies and armour with an unparalleled ferocity. Another example is Sylpha, where the the Everthorn has spread as a massive thicket across every land mass of the Realm. This super thicket is said to measure three hundred feet high, with thorns jutting from the branches some twelve feet in length like massive lances.
