Vindonnus
The first planet orbiting the Nèamhan star. It takes only 29.2 days to complete an orbit. Tidally locked to the star and with no atmosphere to carry the heat, the difference in temperature between the light and dark side of the planet are extreme, averaging 513.54 °C on the day side, and down to -215 °C on the night.
Astronomers believe that Borrum has been slowly tugging on Vindonnus since it was captured by Nèamhan 1 billion years ago, bringing it into its current elliptical orbit.
Due to the heat, the day side is all but empty, but the night side has small science outposts and mining settlements extracting various ore deposits exposed by the many meteor impacts.
Geography
Vindonnus is barren and riddled with impact craters from meteor impacts.
