Leith Orbital

The first station orbiting Aurora was established 100 years after initial settlement. As populations boomed and factions were established, the station was proposed as a neutral ground for diplomacy. The station orbits the planet in the gap between the major ring systems, known as the Void of Leith.
The station hosts the embassies for all major factions as well as 600,000 permanent residents who live in one of the three habitation rings of the station.

Government

Diplomatic immunity is non-existent on Leith Orbital. Law on the station is enforced by a neutral company to ensure bias for each faction is kept to a minimum.
Leith, in essence, is a nation unto itself with no allegiance to any of the nations and provides a neutral ground for diplomacy.

Infrastructure

The majority of the population resides in one of the three habitation rings. The central hub hosts the main political chambers where diplomatic talks are held as well as several docking bays for star ships.
