Derry Mining Guild

The Derry Mining Guild is a mining corporation that operates within the Ulster Belt. Their main focus is prospecting the belt for rare metals.
The organisation operates out of the jurisdiction of all Auroran nations, acting as a sovereign body with their own flag, passports and security.
The guild welcomes visitors, but is very strict on immigration to their territories to prevent their population growing faster than they can acommodate.

Structure

1. Chair - The overall head of the Board.
2. Board - The governing body of the Guild. The Board consists of a Treasurer, Head of Infrastructure, Foreign Relations Officer, Security Chief and Logistics Manager
3. Overseer - Each station has one Overseer who report directly to the board and ensure operations run smoothly at their respective post.

The Guild's agenda is simple - provide its citizens the means to make a comfortable living in the Ulster belt.

History

The Guild started off as a prospecting company from Lyonesse, but 20 years after establishing their first colony, Cavan's Prospect, they campaigned for their independence from the country. The campaign was brief, but peaceful - The Lyonesse Senate agreed to the Guild's independence on the condition that its members renounce their citizenship - however they have maintained a trade relationship.
Relations between the Guild and Lyonesse are indifferent at best, distrusting at worst.
