Aslin

The seventh planet of Nèamhan. Aslin is a hydrogen/helium gas giant with trace amounts of Nitrogen and Oxygen. Aslin is of strong economic significance as its rings are rich in metals. Its strong magnetic fields produce intense aurora which attracts tens of thousands of tourists every year to admire the breathtaking scenery.
In 0326, a comet slammed into Aslin's atmosphere, treating tourists to a spectacular light show. The "scar" from this event is still visible in the planet's lower northern hemisphere.
