Aurodia

Aurodia is a fantasy world in which humans are the primary dominant species that everyone else has to bow to. Even though there are still other mighty species such as the elves, no one could defeat this superior race by now and all attempts to do so resulted in a horrible slaughtering of the trying ones. The main reason why that is the case is that nobody is better at controlling the powers of magic; in fact, almost every human is capable of using it. The humans don't use that power for good but instead abuse it to expand their realm greedily. They already hunted the elves near to extinction so that there is only a hand full of "real" elves left. Instead, most of them had to flee into the caves of the grand mountain ranges or to the merciless frozen wastelands in the North. But even there they can't live a safe life, as humans continue to hunt and enslave them. The elves are not the only ones that are exploited continuously, but also nearly every human that isn't part of the upper parts of society. They're all suffering under the constant wars and schemes of the three Great Houses that rule most of the known world: Serion, Meron, and Deilen.   (Currently working on the general structure of the world, so many articles are WIP)
