Fendelvar (Mountain/Gold Dwarves)
Basic Information
Ecology and Habitats
Fendelvar are great miners and builders and they prefer ro build their cities and halls in great mountains, mostly subterranean but with grand gates and magnificent palisades and fortifications. They prefer working in living stone, but delight in finding large caverns and galleries in the stone which they promptly work and carve into courtyards and comunities for the dwarven well-to-do. They prefer majestic mountains on the outer edges of a range, close enough to both the Kordelvar and the Thraindurrin to facilitate trade.
Dietary Needs and Habits

They will terrace the slopes of smaller mountains around their main holding to farm and run mountain loving herd animals for meat, in addition they cultivate some of the mushrooms and fungi of the Kordelvar as well.
