Halflings

A species originating from The Leath Valley, they have spread to all corners of the world. Known primarily for turning their homeland into the most productive farmlands in the world, they are also know for their love of literature and the simple things in life. They are known as hard workers and simple livers, preferring a quiet life. Some are known to go out for adventures however, and even have their own Scouts Corp within the Empires military.

Most of their Technological advances are farming based, as they strive to make the work they do easier so they may have more free time for other pursuits.

History

Though the Catyclism did affect them, they were able to band themselves together and build a peaceful and thriving community, with war very rarely coming to their doorstep. Supposedly before the Catyclism they were even more peaceful then now, and their adventures and military keenness only came about as a result of the strife during the dark age.
