The upper Streams

It may be tempting to try to use it to learn how to manipulate the Flow, by don't even think about it.
Without all these rivers of Flow, we would be destined to die on the Ground below. So don't tamper with them.

Description

The upper Streams is a system of numerous river like cycles made out of massive amount of The Flow containing all natural Elements.
Following the blast created during the Cataclysm, these streams lifted into the air many mountains containing vast quantities of Resonin. This phenomenon created the flying mountains which people call Atocites   Each stream forms a closed Cycle, which helps people at Atocites with planning their resources.
Atocites on these streams follow the specific direction of the stream and cycle around their specific route. The areas for Raiding are therefore always the same and in the same order.   The upper Streams are still just a Flow and are thus vulnerable to Corruption. Luckily, the Corruption stick to the The Ground below and does not reach up for the streams.
This applies only to raw Corruption. Animals, beasts, and monsters of Atocitera were affected by Corruption to such a degree that they attract Flow from their surroundings and crystalize it inside their bodies. These changes ensured, that the only domestic animals available for Raiders are the Shlamoubis which were carried on top of the Atocites during The Grand migration.

Location

Located high above the ground, The upper Streams create a sanctuary far away from the Corruption and anything it creates.
Spread all around, there are very few areas on Atocitera, that are not in reach for Raid from some of the Atocites.

Notable use

The major use of The upper Streams is their synergy with Resonin inside Atocites. This combination ensures that Atocites stay afloat in the sky, and save from the dangers below.
Thanks to their immutable direction, the streams also ensure at least some element of stability on which the people could build on. Without the knowledge of what is coming, not even the Planners would be able to prepare the people.
