The Lord's Pass

Winds howl through a deep mountain pass, creating a cacophonous harmony of whistles that cause a low hum. The light here is low, obscured by the thick canopy of the overgrown mountainsides - the main source of illumination emanates from the city below. 
Houses of all shapes are spread haphazardly around the base of a large multilevel pyramid - stone spires and arching bridges form an endless network of rooms around the reclaimed megashrine. The city under the Lord's Pass is watched by the Overseer - an illusive figure not truly known by anyone. 
Attacks on the city by Murk-Guard are commonplace, and are dealt with by the Guardians mounted atop Iron-plated walls, several ballista's are cocked and ready to take down a moving Murkhov - houses mounted atop large dinosaurs. 
Rumours thrash the lands about an ancient god of the Serpentiaks reawakening, but such a creature is sure to be a myth...
