Wyvern Tor Tavern

Wyvern Tor is a prominent landmark in the rugged hills northeast of the Sword Mountains and is easily visible from twenty miles away. The tor was formerly the home of a large and dangerous nest of wyverns, but a band of bold adventurers dealt with the monsters years ago. Though the wyverns never returned, other creatures laired here from time to time.
Currently, it is occupied by a band of orcs led by Brughor Axe-Biter and their ogre ally named Gog from the Many Arrows tribe. They originally came to the area to spy on the nearby settlement of Phandalin, waylay travellers on the Triboar Trail, loot and plunder. After a run in with the party, however, they were convinced to give up their marauding ways and convert the tor into a roadside tavern.
Work has been done to turn the dank cave into a warm and homely inn. A post outside proclaims the name and invites weary travellers inside, large oak doors open to reveal a crackling hearth, a large bar is stocked with dirty glasses and kegs of bitter alcohol, solid oak tables occupy the space and small rooms with shoddy but comfortable furniture are available for hire. Business has been incredibly slow, however. People in the area fear the orcs and are reluctant to partake in their business.
