Brownie in SPACE!

I have this idea for a character I might play in the other Star Wars Campaign. It would be a stowaway on their ship. It will take a lot of small unexplained (suspected paranormal) events before the character learns to trust enough to appear in person and be willing to converse with any of the crew, including droids and the shipboard computer.   Character concept: Brownie in Space!   The ship's crew gradually notice chores being done "overnight" with no explanation. The shipboard computer is found researching ancient folklore about Brownies and other hearth spirits to get suggestions how to deal with the unknown situation.   Perhaps a crewmember might bump into some small object in the hallway but not see anything nor anyone.   Eventually, the crewmember least likely to be believed is alone one "night" and spies a naked hairy man, (or short-haired wookie, or perhaps a wookie/human halfbreed), cleaning the cabinets and ceilings. (I will use the image of Harry and the Hendersons until I find a more accurate one.) When the fellow realizes he has been seen, he stops cleaning and steps out of sight to vanish away.   For other sightings, he might be dwarf-sized while cleaning the floor, or very lanky when repairing an engine.   According to folklore, the best way to gain the help of a hearth spirit is to make any expression of thankfulness (spoken aloud or a gift or treat may be set out for him), and then name aloud a chore that you would have to do if no one does it for you. Then leave the area and wait.   He phobically resists any attempt to hire him as an employee, make promises, or attempt to control him in any other way, (including threats and bribes with strings attached). Offering him clothing mildly irritates him. Prying about the Brownie's true name is offensive.   If the Brownie is offended, it might invisibly toss small objects, jam moving parts, make floors slippery, or break things like a poltergeist. But otherwise, it will continue to do cleaning and maintenance when and where no one is around.     Spoiler: The "Brownie"'s real name is A1B1, Repair and Services Droid. (One of the first droid designs ever produced.) Its true physical body is a silent flying drone the size of a cigarette, (a fraction of the size of a hunter-killer drone), which can project a "hard light" image of a body around it and emit a voice like a protocol droid. (It is a force-field-reinforced hologram, like the character Rimmer from Red Dwarf.) Its force fields are able to perform cleaning and repairs like anyone with hands could do, but tirelessly. It is able to project its hologram body up to twice the size of a wookie (with comparative strength but only for a short time) and down to the size of an action figure as required for the task at hand. This droid can also use its holograms to cloak itself to be invisible (including the infrared and ultraviolet spectrums if GM approves).   This droid invisibly listens in on many conversations on the ship and eventually might be willing to do some spying planetside, or even some stealing if it would help the ship. The forcefields and holograms have the capability to carry and render invisible just about anything a human hiker could carry.   It is vulnerable to visible dust in the air and fog because it's motion would leave a trail. Otherwise, it leaves no footprints nor fingerprints.   Clothing is troublesome to the Brownie as are any material possessions because it has no place to put them. Gifts of foodstuffs may go untouched, or may disappear.   Offensive capability: As well as throwing miscellaneous objects, the Brownie can apply a frictionless forcefield to sections of floor in its vicinity, and put a forcefield between two combatants. It is only strong enough to have a chance of deflecting blaster bolts or punches, no guarantees.   Defenses: The cloaking holograms are very effective even by today's standards, and the droid is actually very small and difficult to target if uncloaked.   Needs: The more expressions of thanks that the droid receives, the more processor power it devotes to serving. In its case, it really is the thought that counts.
