In a conflict between the gnolls of Mørkthyl and the flightless wyrms of the Gewalt, shamans of Yeenoghu summoned marrashi and witherlings to blight Gewaltan lands and spread a deadly plague among the wyrms. Decimated, many Gewaltans turned to the Dragonhier and Demon, Tiamat.
