Geological / environmental event
Mount Stalagos erupted, covering a large swath of the land in a volcanic ash, containing heavy amounts of carbon dioxide for upwards of 25 minutes, which probably led to death from asphyxiation. The mountain has since been considered dormant, if not dead, by all those concerned. No mention or record of natural volcanic activity has been recorded from the mountain since the region was first re-settled. The remains of over 3,500 people have been found at Mons Fluvius and Darió so far, although the total death toll from the eruption remains unknown.
