St. Rao the Mediator

Patron: Pelor   Saint Rao is said to have been a member of two distinct Faith's, Pelor and Selûne. Rao contributed to being a major part in ending the conflict between the two Faith's that scholars call the Schism. Scholars believe this event occurred when ancient lost artifacts and scrolls were rediscovered in a vast rift, where a great many of the two's temples had sunk down over the years. The massive complex consisted of changing Pelor and Selûne temples stacked and merging with each other. It was Rao who took one of these artifacts and used it to forge a peace between the two Faith's, claiming that it was meant for the powers of each god to wane as the others grew. Rao said that this was nature incarnate, and was the first known person to add to both the Pelor and Selûne myth cycles.
  • Scroll of Fate. It was said the artifact Rao found was an ancient scroll that the Savras had gifted to the ancient Alyied Empire. It is unknown how many scrolls are left but it was said that Savras had originally given two sets of 50. It is said that the runes that make up these scrolls swim along the page, and only those extremely gifted in the arcane could read them.
