Sprite Species in Asyur | World Anvil

Sprite

Sprites are the warrior relatives of pixies. They are fierce defenders of good wherever they dwell, and are also firm judges of other creatures' hearts and intentions.
The term "sprite" actually has two meanings: the first meant the specific race of tiny warriors, while the second use referred to the group of tiny, insect-featured fey that the specific kind belonged to.

Harvesting

Because this creature is an Fey, the player should roll a Arcana Check using the DCs in the table below. On a success, the player is able to harvest the item. On a failure, the item cannot be harvested (either because the character is not skilled enough, or because the item is ruined). The DM should note that many of the items have an expiration, and can not be sold or used after the expiration has passed.

Equipment & Other Goods

This character usually carries: 1 Longsword, 1 Shortbow, 1d4 Arrows, 1 Quiver.
Tiny creatures often carry very small weapons & armor, too small for other creatures not of the same size. The items found on this creature are ¼× their normal size, weight, and value.

Harvesting Meat

There is a stigma to eating meat belonging to sentient creatures that have a humanoid form and features. Harvesting the meat may be frowned upon and even considered cannibalism. Some communities may refuse to buy the meat (and some evil communities may pay a premium). The meat may even be difficult to eat, or unedible. Of course, these are all up to the Dungeon Master to decide.
This creature produces 1d1 pieces of meat, weighing a total of 4 lbs a piece.
