Defences

Middletons best defense is reliance on no maps and no trade with the outside world. Few know of this small remote villages existence, and the gnomes would like to keep it that way.

Industry & Trade

There is no trade in Middleton with other towns. Because of this most of the town works on a gift/give economy. The smith repairs the tools for the farmers and in returns gets food from the plants grown and harvested with the tools repaired and made by the blacksmith.

History

Middleton has had a very calm and peaceful existence and history, with nothing of relative note happening until 4126, when a band of Orcs set up in the Mayor's house for 3 weeks, before two Heroes, a human and another gnome, killed all the Orcs.
