Iron Working
Ironwork is any weapon, artwork, utensil, or architectural feature made of iron, especially one used for decoration. There are two main types of ironwork: wrought iron and cast iron. While the use of iron dates back to the -6000 Dominadraco Era, it was first mainly used by the dwarves, specifically those around the Kron Hills and Mountains.
Iron Age
The Iron Age for humanity was around -2600 and lasted for thousands of years. Even though many other races had access to and used iron ore before this, humans didn't start using the ore in great amount until this time, for both weaponry and primary as decoration and art. Nevertheless, after humanity developed and grew, it was only a matter of time before they decided on using a widespread abundant, and easy-to-use and work metal that isn't an alloy. Because of this new generations of humans grew up with easy access to iron resulting in many new styles of Swordsman. Building on the knowledge of previous weapon makers and smiths of other races, humans were able to make extremely lethal and deadly armaments than previously made by other races and humans themselves as generations of smiths honed their craft.Remove these ads.
