Delian Thornbrush
(a.k.a. ol'Del)
Delian or "ol'Del" is a shepherd who lives on the outskirts of Hommlet. He maintained a heathy stock of sheep and cattle on his many acres of hilly, wet farmland on the edge of the Gnarley Forest.
The Moathouse
Ol'Del saw the dragon known as Utreshimon attack the ruined structure in the woods behind his farmland and house (c.4113). Before that he had seen strange robed figures and 'civilized' gnolls heading into the forest towards that particular ruin for about a month. When the group of mercenaries and adventures lead by Mangoseed inquired about the ruined structure one day, ol'Del was more than happy to give information on the structure. Calling it haunted for many years (by zombies he said when asked further), then going into detail about the strange folk and the gnolls, and ending with the more recent (3 days) dragon attack and residence. Assured by Mangoseed that they would "deal with it", ol'Del was more than skeptical when the group of 4 left towards the structure to "clear it out of evil" as they claimed. Ol'Del couldn't help but feel that this would be the last time he would see the group of mercenaries.
