Burne's Badgers
The militia of The Village of Hommlet, created in the year 4115 Second Age. The official creation of the militia rose out of a real fear and concern of old churches that plagued the land long before the Prime Pantheon became the Dalelands main recognized religion.
These churches, or cults, have been bent of subjecting the entire Lowlands to slavery under their dark gods. Changing from time to time, it seems that Hommlet has been a target since its foundation.
Created by the Wizard-Lord Burne; resident, mayor, and wizard of the village, it was no surprise to anyone when Elmo, the last militiaman of the previous militia, was put in charge of training and maintaining the new militia.
