Grand Master - Caelthas Vierellian

Grand Master Caelthus Aerion Virellian (a.k.a. Laughing Judge)

Caelthas Virellian is the unpredictable and flamboyant Eladrin who serves as Coalacium’s most infamous arena master and architect of its seasonal games. With a mind as ever-shifting as the feywild winds and an appearance that literally reflects his mood, Caelthas is both a crowd-favorite showrunner and a maddening enigma to his political peers. Each season, his personality, voice, and leadership style transform, making him either a benevolent showman or a ruthless tactician. Despite his eccentricity, his charisma and cunning have kept him securely entrenched in the city’s power structure—much to the Sponsors Consortium’s simultaneous delight and frustration.   Caelthas Virellian is a paradox wrapped in poetry and dipped in bloodsport—part artist, part architect of agony. Coalacium flourishes under his eccentric gaze, and though his seasonal moods make him a mystery even to his closest allies, none can deny his transformative impact on the city’s culture. Every season he returns to the arena stage, reborn and repurposed, ever ready to remind the world that the line between art and violence is drawn in sand—and washed away with the tide of applause.
