Coalacium
Founded in the year 148 AD by Centurion Marcus Coal after the First Pandora War, Coalacium was initially established as a defensive outpost overlooking the Swirling Sinkhole but quickly transformed into a cultural hub centered around combat and arena competition. Coalacium’s reputation as an arena city grew as it became a magnet for warriors, mages, and athletes from all walks of life. Its grand Coliseum has hosted countless events over the centuries, from noble tournaments to controversial blood sports, including a dark period when prisoners from Ironhill were forcibly injected with small doses of lycanthropy for heightened arena spectacle—a practice that was abolished after just a few years.
Coalacium stands as a city where blood, honor, and spectacle are celebrated, with a rich history centered around its iconic Coliseum. It’s a place where warriors, merchants, and tourists alike come to experience the thrill of the arena and the power of the arcane arts woven into every corner of the city.
