Mana Smithing

Utility

Mana Smithing Is used to create magically enchanted metals and items. It was rediscovered by the dwarves and other races after the fey war nearly obliterated the elven races. If rushed, many of the metals can become very unstable and cause unforeseen side effects.

Inventor(s)

The high elves during the Fey war were looking for something to give themselves an advantage against the wood elf population.

Access & Availability

Mana Smithing is available to many smiths wishing to train in the arcane arts, it is however incredibly difficult to master.

Complexity

Mana smithing is very complex as it involves normal blacksmithing in addition to ritualistic incantations and components not often associated with smithing.

Discovery

Mana Smithing has been an art that was practiced by dwarven blacksmiths for generations since before the Mana Perforation and was fairly recently rediscovered by the younger races with the influx of magic into the world.
