Chained One

A powerful devil that enjoyed corrupting followers of Pelor. Many centuries ago, Asmar Silverfist and his companions stopped the Chained One, but weren't strong enough to kill the devil. Instead, the heroes used powerful magic to bind the devil to a temple of Pelor he corrupted.
Many centuries later, a group of former Silverfist Temple acolytes, The Banished came to the Chained One for power. The devil gave them shadowy powers in exchange for helping free him. Eventually, his followers were defeated by the Libertas Heroes. The Chained One made a devil contract with the heroes and gave them vital information in exchange for his freedom. After being freed, the devil took advantage of a loophole in the contract to kill the pesky mortals, but the devil lost and was sent back to the Nine Hells.
