Ancestral Worship

When the Fenrikans crossed the Giant's Sea, they brought many things, including their culture. believing that to die in battle is the most glorious way to die, they eagerly seek out conflict to test themselves and gain a chance to enter the Ancestors Hall, a resting place for the dead souls to feast and fight until the stars vanish.

Mythology & Lore

It is believed that when a worthy warrior dies in battle, they are given the opportunity to enter the Ancestors Hall and feast and fight and die everyday until the day they are called upon by the world to do one final battle against that which will consume the stars.

Divine Origins

Brought over by the Fenrikans from the lands beyond the Sea of Giants, some suspect this is a variant of the mythical religion of the giants. Fenrikans laugh at this and claim that Tyr himself was the first to speak of the Ancestors Hall and he claimed it was the will of a mighty war god that he prepare his people.

Cosmological Views

It is believe that the world was once covered in ice, and the people starved as the giants hogged all of the food. One day Tyr spoke to the king of the Winter Wolves and agreed to an alliance to fight the giants. Together he and the Wolf King slew the giant king, freeing the world from winter. They gathered their people and sailed north to conquer the world. One day something, oftentimes called a giant, will come to the world and extinguish the stars. At that point the worthy dead will rise and do battle with the beast and its minions giving time for the remaining living people to sail into the stars to a new world, where eventually, the cycle will repeat.

To die in battle is to be considered for the ancestral hall, To lose honor is to lose a connection to the Ancestors.
