Breonis subjugates Vironia and Gildamoir, their neighbors to the west and south.Due to the mountains, Midland is fairly removed from direct danger and invests into an immense navy. Briverian war lineages are reinstated along the families closest to the Breonisian border. Orolis issues a religious mandate and forms the holy order of martyrs.

• Midland puts a considerable amount of wealth behind its navy and begins plans to blockade Breonisian ports
• The logistics of warfare around the aethus and luxus mountain ranges surrounding Galessa valley make direct confrontation difficult. This works in the favor of the alliance, as they can fight on two fronts, with briveria on the northern front and Orolis on the western front.
• This particularly works in midland’s favor - as they lack a comparable standing army and most of its forces are defensive or naval.
• Briveria has had skirmishes along the breonisian border for centuries, and the fortresses along the border are plentiful, and the culture adapted toward warfare with its southern neighbor
• Briverian War Lineages are reinstated - briverian counts or countesses within two days’ travel of the border are given by law the ability to conscript any living on their land into their family. Those with war blood - who are descended from the head of the family - are each responsible for maintaining a standing army.
• Orolis issues a religious mandate to any able to fight to join the holy order of martyrs
• Religious fervor for the newly anointed Orrai leads to an immense force
• Orrai IX Petrus Chaleb was amazingly popular. Awakened at birth, he had an aura of golden light and those who laid eyes on him loved him. Immediately, the clergy was called to bless the child and he was proclaimed Orrailic by his Predecessor, Orrai VIII Yuval Gavri’el
• After proclamation, Petrus was raised by the Clergy in preparation of his anointment
• Petrus’ anointment was long awaited and well celebrated, but also came at a very tumultuous time. A breonisian assasination attempt was unsuccessful after the would-be assassin confessed to Petrus his plot publicly.One of the ceremonies around the anointment of an Orrai was that any who spoke their sins in front of the Orrai could be granted absolution. Petrus went beyond absolution, offering a position as his personal advisor.
