Military action

The first five years of the war are largely tenuous skirmishes while the dynamics of warfare are felt out.

• Midland’s navy holds the Breonisian fleet at bay near the Briverian border while it builds a reserve fleet designed to overwhelm the Breonisians in one push and break through the line.
• Briveria makes some small gains on Breonisian territory but the majority of War Blood armies are disorganized and focused mainly on raiding the territory instead of occupying it. Resentment from the populace makes occupation difficult.
• Orolis focuses on taking a small patch of territory on the western edge of the luxus mountain range by AC 51, where an enormous crag in the mountain revealed a vein of awakened iron. The steel folded from this iron is amazingly light and does not lose its shape easily. Much of Orolis’ industry focuses on outfitting the allied forces with weapons and armor.
