Military action

A co-ordinated effort between the allies makes significant inroads into Breonisian territory.

• Midland’s reserve fleet - though devastated by an attack that sank one out of every five ships - still retains enough to break through the naval line. Not enough ships remain to blockade any but the nearest port, though this is the main port to the Breonisian capital of Visiona. The effect devastates coastal logistics for Breonis, though they had anticipated this and put more effort into land routes.
• Breonisian efforts into breeding awakened beasts of burden leads to an advantage in land transportation. In particular, the Pegasi breed of winged horse allowed great troop mobility, although its rarity hindered widespread use.
• A Briverian Noble lineage led by the matriarch Hildryn Storolk organizes a hierarchy within the war blood armies. Working together, they pushed along the Aethus mountains to cruxilmith, surrounding the capital of visiona.
• Breonis shifts much of its forces north to hold the border, leaving the western front mostly to Vironia and Gildamoir
• Orolis fanatics posing as travelers wreak havoc in Vironia
• The holy order of martyrs marches out of the Orhelune jungle and take the fortress of Akramal, and from there siege Vilmihlos, the capital of Vironia.
• The siege of Vilmihlos cost Orolis only the blood of three martyrs, who were slain within the walls of the city proclaiming that all who hungered could leave the fortress and be fed on the condition that they do not return to the city until the Orrai sat upon the throne.
• The Vironian king ordered any found leaving the city be executed, though the order was only followed once.
• The death of a woman leaving to get food for her family turned Vironians against each other in a fight that resulted in several injuries and the death of the guard who executed her.
• The Orrai holds a vigil through the night, thousands of candles held upon speartips could be seen from the walls of Vilmihlos
• The next day, a procession left the city, including much of the town watch. The holy order of martyrs carries food and water along the road, tending to those exiting the city. With their weapons left in the siege camp, they walked peacefully into the city and sought to render aid where needed.The castle was empty save for the servants, and some reported seeing a small boat slowly rowing out to lake Vilmik.
