Astral

Astral is the biggest island in between Aya and Gaia, and its where the Arcane Tree was found, leading to the entire world discovering magic, alongside the Arcane Energy. It was home to the first Guardian School, located at the capital of Haven. The island is divided in two sectors, the "Astral" sector, and the "Endorin" sector. Endorin was a dark forest, where no species ever set foot, until they reached the Tree. It triggered something, that made all the monstrous creatures and the vile magic to rush out the forest and into the small posts set up during the Great Travels.
After two decades combating these beasts, a powerful practitioner of the Arcane Arts, joined the fight, and had a brilliant idea. He joined with a group of other practitioners, and concentrated their force on ripping the island apart. It was the struggle of a few hundred men and woman, casting the same spell, and only after 10 minutes, the fissure was created, separating Endorin from Astral. Many centuries after, an outpost was mounted on the south of Endorin, and is now kept under protection by a series of spells.
In the Northern area of Astral, the Floating Tower resides in the air, where the high-counselor lives, meditates, and gives orders. It is one of the three major levitating structures of Asmarat, the other ones being located at Tharon and Cromia.

Geography

Mostly dense forests and plains, alongside a few swampy areas down south.
