Aide Dorian II Gadstaff
Born of a half-elf mother and elven father, Dorian Gadstaff the Second grew up in Tor Jakal as a serious and studious child. He educated himself in the public and private libraries of Bergenstaat until being accepted into the University of Tor Jakal in 1457. He graduated with a Ivory-level commendation in 1511. As a member of Innug (House) Gadstaff and a highly educated young elf, he was given a position as aide to his father, Councilor Gadstaff.
During this time he was diagnosed with CNED (Chronic Negative Emotion Disorder) and began periodically taking medication to dampen emotion.
Dorian quickly gained the respect and trust of both his peers and elders, who began (through an arduous legislative process) to place him in line to succeed either his father (a Senior Councilman) or a Junior Councilman in the event of abdication. He traveled extensively to many of the countries that had trade agreements with Bergenstaat and made many foreign connections. He was appointed to attend the Meeting of the Kingdoms to discuss the threat of the Sanctified in 1700. During that meeting it was decided that they would reconvene and invite the leader of the Sanctified to the next conference. Dorian was also appointed to that event.
