Bahamut
When he awoke, the world was on fire
Bahamut the Hellfire, the Dragon with the flame breath that annihilates matter. Considered to be the most physically powerful of his kind based on his fierce and fearful appearance. Sorcerer's and great philosophers argue that there is no place in the world that can endure Bahamut's heat other than the 9 Hells. Songs and poets written for the souls of the damned refer to him as the manifestation of Heresy, the torturer of the 6th circle.
Ancient scripts refer to him as an otherworldly mass of burned pitch black scales that get covered with the lava that runs over his body. Bahamut was the first thing the survivors of the Deep Freeze saw after the ice vanished by his Hellfire.
The ice melted, most of it at least, but Bahamut's flames continued to burn for over a year after the catastrophic event. Felshivaria's inner rings were heavily affected by the Hellfire and the area was evacuated during that year. When the flames collapsed, a new race was born from the ashes (Birth of the Orcish Race).
