History

Wood Elves, also known as copper elves, were native to the Realm of Asgard and could be found in many scattered groups across the continent. They formed a tightly knit, networked communities, leaving behind high magic and becoming closer to nature.   They befriended the Dwarves and later taught them magic. A decision they would later come to regret.   For a time, peace reigned in Asgard, until the Dwarves (Derro) brought disaster, attacking the Elves, Halflings, Gnomes, and Humanity along side the Goblins and Half-Elves.   Wood elves largely kept to the lands they already inhabited, fortifying their position, and ignored the call to Retreat, staying to look after their towns and protect their forest. Unfortunately, they were overrun by the goblin hordes, and most of the elves perished in the coming onslaught brought on by Glimjim .   Today, a handful of elves is all that remain in Greyston fighting to survive as the last of their kind.
