Pixies
Pixies are the usual image that comes to mind when one thinks of Fairies , though we might not necessarily realize it - in contrast to the Human -sized, complicated and capricious faerie, though, pixies are very small, their range in size moving from the length of your thumb to being roughly akin to a medium-sized bird. Pixies are distinctly inhuman, and usually very… pointy. Pointed chins, angular noses, sharp cheekbones, sharp fingernails, sharp teeth, and relatively large pointed ears - they’re very edgy compared to other kinds of fae, but don’t let that fool you! Pixies are known to be quite helpful, often reaching into spaces you can’t reach to retrieve lost items; if you befriend a pixie, you might just find that you have a lot more luck on your side than you realized. However, pixies are also very emotionally-driven, and perhaps easily offended in more than a few cases. Disrespect a pixie and you might never hear the end of it - and not just from that one pixie. They’re very social creatures, and band together for almost every activity; they’re fun-loving, carefree, and sweet… just treat them with kindness, and you’ll be sure to receive kindness in return. Keep in mind that just because they’re small, doesn’t mean they’ll take your shit. Ever.
