Humanity

The largest and most represented species by far, humanity has been the leading group for several centuries. This is much to the annoyance of the longer-lived Seelie races. There seems to be a strange phenomenon that surrounds humanity as well - quietly dubbed the "Will of Humanity" by Seelie species, it is suspected that one's belief in the truth influences the reality around that person. The greater the belief, the stronger the affect in a given phenomenon.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Bipedal species evolved from other sapient life. Usually born with two legs, two arms, a central torso, and a head. Hair grows in various places depending on ethnicity and climate, and are often decorated and styled.

Genetics and Reproduction

Sperm fertilizes an egg within a uterus. In general, all people with a uterus have a collective single shedding known in various cultures as The Long Birth. It is difficult, although not impossible, to become pregnant outside of the usual cycle. Gestation usually occurs over nine to ten months.
