Brightmetal

Brightmetal is an ore that is cast off from falling stars, often finding its way to the surface of the continent in fiery explosions. Over the course of centuries several civilizations have developed multiple uses for the rare ore, including the creation of Starbright armor and weapons. 
This metal seems to have an affinity for Starlings, and glows softly when under their influence.

Material Characteristics

Texture is almost always found smooth, even in ore deposits that should be rough. The metal has a soft luster to it, especially at night and reflects the moonlight and starlight in strange ways but appears to dull in sunlight.

As technological interest increased, so too did the use of brightmetal - detail here forging techniques and its combinations with other ores and metals.
