The Revivitorium

In the Daralei Elves, particularly High Elves, like to boast that they have mastered every art. However, for many things, that claim is arguable at best and just false at worst. However, there are three crafts in which Elves have undeniably perfected; Silversmithing, Weapon Enchantment, and Medicine.    The latter is quite possibly the elven claim to fame. Generations of access to their advanced medicines have led to their extensive lifespans. Elven medicine is performed at it's highest quality in their home continent of Mylanthia, and it is done best in the capital of Gozendelle. The Revivitorium is placed in this capital, and not only is it considered the birthplace of modern Elven medicine, it is also where it continues to develop and the largest medical school in the Daralei. It is even renowned as a spot where one can bring those who have passed and bring them back to life... for a pretty piece of course.    The Revivitorium Campus is composed of a large cylindrical building at it's center with a copper dome for a roof at it's center, while to the north, south, west and east have their own large rectangular rooms from it's sides. There is an entrance on the building's north-west and south-east. This is what most refer to as the Revivitorium. This is where most patients who visit the campus are seen, although the cost of being seen by the practitioners there are extremely high, even for residents of the continent who don't have to travel oversea and pay for lodging. This acts also as a school, training aspiring practitioners to be the next generation of healers, although it is highly exclusive and very expensive to attend as well.   The Revivitorium is often used as a piece of evidence for the Naturalist Faction, who believe it to be a prime example of what they call 'the Modernist Lie'. King Carric Zolensinne of the southern wood kingdoms, circa 78,110, said in response to the Revivitorium's growing popularity among the Daralei for it's medicinal marvels, "I would advise one looks beyond the façade of healing the Revivitorium provides. For every marvel created, another thousand are ignored for the lack of money in the pocket. For every elven prince or human senator brought from the depths of death, another thousand men and women are left to rot for the simple fact that they do not possess the funds nor time to do so. It hides as the hope of health, a beacon of shining generosity in it's marble walls, yet it festers with all the greed and tyranny as everything does in the lie of modernism."
