The Mineburrow Golden Chisel

On Terra - and most connected worlds (except for Shayandowka) goblins are not evil folk raiding around stealing and eating babies and destroying everything in their path. Instead they are the little green "elves" of the nonexistent Santa Claus , creating toys, décor items for homes and gardens - and some even do jewelry.

17 years after the creation of their first towns they took on trading and selling their creations to humans and other surface folk. That's when this item was created and raised on a pedestal in the town of Mineburrow, located in the south part of the mountains west of Rockdoors - a giant (for them) chisel, made entirely of pure gold. The clan leader who spoke before the rest of his townsfolk said that this Chisel was meant to be the way of The First Goblins to tell them that their way of life can be more than violence and isolation and having to hide if they want to go and mingle with the surface peoples. That if they learn to master a tool and a talent and some good communication skills they can be just as respected as any human or even elf.

Significance

For the crafty goblins of Mineburrow the statue of the giant Golden Chisel is a reminder of the reason for the creation of their tribes and the status in the world this way of life provided them. They - and most other goblins almost treat the statue like a deity - they pray to it, leave gifts and offerings under its pedestal and even ask it for guidance, clarity and creative vision.
The Golden Chisel has become a sign of level of mastery for their society. That's why when someone excels in their main ability in crafting and it is seen and recognized by more than twenty individuals, they are given an actual chisel they can work with that's covered in a layer of gold paint and called officially a "Master Craftsman"
It's a chisel because the very first toys and furniture items they tried making were from wood.
