Flaminkohla (Flamingo but with K & oh-la)

On paper the village of Flaminkohla is: 

"A fun-sized town purposefully withdrawn from most major cities and located on the perfect corner between wild woods and the vast ocean. "

This means that Flaminkohla is located on an island just a bit south of France and is indeed situated between a forest and beautiful beach - making it a desired spot for a relaxing vacation especially when one has in mind two of it's best features: It's never crowded as you literally need to sign up and wait for a spot to go there and 2) The town is known as THE BEST spa/party town in this half of the planet of Terra.

Government

Flaminkohla has two mayors: one is responsible for the more forested side of the town as well as the spa side of the small retreat and the other is responsible for the beach & party side. The two mayors are actually brothers and work perfectly fine together. They tax the citizens of the town the minimum and the laws they enforce are along the lines of basic good human behaviour with the points included : everybody works to create bright and vibrant display for the coming "clients" and anyone who wants to come in and stay as a citizen needs to be tested publicly before being accepted.

On the forest side

there are small hiking paths leading to natural hot springs, saunas, makeup and cosmetics stores, makeover studios - for a full 'do; two small clinics specializing in cosmetic surgery; there's massage places, spots indoors & outdoors for yoga and both indoors and outdoor gyms.

On the beach side there's stores for party supplies, two big stages, seats - that out of season line up a border around the sandy part of the beach - big tables built in the rock of the mountain that slopes down drastically to end under the water, taller-than-a-human speakers on four sides ( two behind each stage) and a system that can close and seal both stages and all the space under them leaving only small pipeways with filters on the very top that can turn rain water, eventual tsunami water, poisonous gasses and any other kind of surprise element into breathable air. The space between the stages - and all the seats - are for up to 3000 people [with room to move around]
