Daily LAIf

What is it?

The one and only AI that exists in all of my worlds. 

How do you get it?

Comes pre-installed on every device you get (every individual once they get into their "teen" ages - varies according to species - gets a free mobile phone from their place of residence, all places of residence come with free laptop/s and computers. Should that one device break a new one can be requested. Tablets are given out by the places of work and pre-programmed and designed for a specific work position /for example - a baker would have recipe books, timer for baking specific things, world-wide bakers chat on their tablets while any sports player will discover it having training session timers, wellness & recovery guides, websites of stores selling gear for the specific sport they do, a tracker/list of competitions they can enter/have entered & how they placed, etc. / Upgrades and phone cases and games & apps can be purchased by the individual according to likings but the device itself is always the same for everyone initially and given for free.)

What can it do?

• Help with maps and directions
• Read anything you want it to: from an article on a website, to the forecast, the news, to books you either have uploaded on the device or downloaded from the internet
• Give advice on anything you might need. If you give it a source it will only look through that source. For example: Give me recipes for Paleo-friendly jam making from old culinary books.
• Give prompts to creators - for anything - writing, drawing, etc.
• Give the best store to buy a specific item from, best nature path in the vicinity, places to train, sightsee, etc.
• essentially anything you ask it to that is not something it can NOT do.

What it can NOT do?

• The Daily LAIf can NOT generate anything that doesn't exist. If you ask it for "a picture of dark haired smiling woman looking at the camera" it is going to most likely give the world's equivalent to the "Mona Lisa" and point out the author with links for more information on both the art piece and the author. If you ask for "A sound that is a cat's purr but slowed down, backwards and high-pitched" it will most likely find you an existing creature that sounds this way and links with information about it.
• It can NOT give out the personal information of the device's owner to another person/company/anything. Even if a hacking attempt is forced on it its self-preservation instict would be to protect.
• It can NOT think on its own. And will never be able to. All the information it gets is from the internet and from places and things it's been prompted to remember (if you want it to find if your favorite pizza chain has a location near you you can go to any of the pizza places they have, take a picture of the logo and "add to favorite locations". And then you move town and ask "Is my fave pizza somewhere around?" and it will give you a "Yes, the closest (name of the place) is 2km away. Do you want directions to get there?" or "No, I'm sorry. But there is (name of other pizza-selling places) in 1,5km. Do you want me to guide you there?"
