with sun-darkened skin and dusty feet they work. walking far to water from their barren sandy land. Aestns may seem unfortunate but they are a happy folk. dancing and singing, with festivals and cheer. with spicy food, a refreshing drink, and colors on the walls and in the air. with murals and mosaics, a dusty stone road, they thrive. flying high, and higher to get a drink. harvesting water from the sky, and touching clouds. with bright eyes, and brighter smiles, they thrive. - Aestns live in the drylands of Aestus, they have dark skin and a heavy coating of feathers on their upper body. their natural markings have less bioluminescence than the other races but they have larger and more expansive markings that traverse the face, stomach, shoulders, arms, and legs. they are capable of storing water in their second stomach for long periods of time to better ensure that they don't dehydrate. they are the spice capital of the planet due to their skill in drying foods and herbs, rare herbs and spices grow in the hidden oases of their land which are traded frequently. they are also skilled in creating pigments from the various plants in their region and sell these to the other kingdoms as well.

clothes are heavy often made of linen and pale colored fabrics to block out the heat. bracelets are worn that are charmed with ice magic to keep the wearer cool in the hot climate they are in.
