The government of Kerrosano is the Kerro Council who administers the overall affairs to the nation. The Kerro Council is split between two groups that reflect the social dynamics of the nation: the Seven Kerro Houses and the Senate Houses. The Seven Kerro Houses represent the noble houses that still exist within the nation, and the lands that are held by the Kerrosano nobility. The Senate Houses represents the non-nobility who occupy the lands that have no presence of the nobility. The top leader of the Kerro Council is called the Sovereign, who is chosen from the Great House of Kerro. The Sovereign is chosen from all eligible individuals who were chosen as candidates by the previous Sovereign, with the final choice allowing the next Sovereign to ascend once the current one either steps down or passes away.
